The short version
This website is a purely static information site. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no tracking services, no advertising networks and no social media plugins. There are no forms, and nothing you type is stored.
Every resource, the fonts included, is served from our own server. No third-party content (Google Fonts, CDNs) is embedded.
The site keeps exactly one item in your browser’s local storage: your language choice (German or English), so a later visit does not greet you in the other language. That item never leaves your browser.
Links to other websites
The site links to the websites of our products and to the website of the partner project Event Job. Your browser contacts another website only when you follow such a link. That website’s own privacy policy applies there.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by SkyLime GmbH, Berlin, Germany. When you open the site, the web server automatically processes technically necessary access data: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, and the referring page.
These data serve solely the technical operation, stability and security of the website (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). They are not combined with other sources and are deleted once they are no longer needed for those purposes, unless a security incident requires longer retention.
Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we process your address and the content of your message in order to answer it (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The correspondence is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:
- Access to the data processed (Article 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR)
Right to complain
For anything at all, write informally to mail@beckon.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: https://www.dsb.gv.at.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here at the time applies.
